Carpet Cleaning

Here are the facts: No other item in your home absorbs more wear and tear on a daily basis than your carpet, and no other item can impact your home's appearance like your carpet can. There are no hidden charges with ServiceMASTER Clean. ServiceMASTER Clean is:

  2. Dependable: Count on us to provide a clean, healthy environment in your home for you and your family.
  3. Flexible: Well provide you with estimates over the phone or in person. As for scheduling, we will clean what you want cleaned when you want it cleaned!

  5. Well Equipped: We use our own exclusive cleaning products, procedures and equipments to assure the highest level of cleaning performance.

Carpet Care and Maintenance:

  1. Have the carpets professionally cleaned at least once a year: A professional cleaner has the equipment and expertise to fully remove dirt and detergent, and will remove most of the moisture in your carpet, something that most rental units don't do.
  2. Vacuum carpets at least once a week: Up to 80% of dirt in carpets is loose dirt that can be removed with regular vacuuming.
  3. Use doormats: Keep dirt, and especially sand, out if the house and off to the rugs.
  4. Protect the surface: Have your carpet fibers protected by a protector.
  5. Rotate furniture: Premature wear and soiling take place when traffic paths are unchanged.
  6. Blot up spills: Quickly clean up spills with a dry, clean cloth or a clean towel. Protect the area until dry.

Carpet Cleaning procedures:

  1. Carpet should be pre-inspected for soil conditions.
  2. Pilate the carpet with a specially designed rake to loosen matted carpet fibers in traffic areas to increase soil removal.
  3. Vacuum entire carpeted area, including edges.
  4. Move and replace furniture in its original position when required.
  5. Pre-treat spots and stains.
  6. Pre-apply carpet cleaning solution to loosen soil in the carpet.
  7. Rinse and extract with clear hot water to ensure that the cleaning solution and soil are removed along with the rinse water.
  8. Re-treat spots and stains as needed.
  9. Pilate the carpet after cleaning to align fibers for even appearance.
  10. Apply carpet (scotch guard) protector when requested.
